Things to do with teenagers in Sydney

Sydney is a big city to do with a teenager, so pick a side of it. The harbour side gives you the bridge climb (younger teens with an adult), the kayaks and sailing at the coves, the ferries to Manly and the surf there, and escape rooms and VR in the CBD for a wet afternoon.

The west has the karting tracks, the trampoline parks, the big indoor climbing gyms and the water park at Jamberoo an hour south. For a real climb, the Blue Mountains and the Royal National Park have graded tracks where a 15 year old gets a proper day and a lookout to prove it.

The free list is as good as the paid one: patrolled surf beaches, ocean pools, the coastal walks, skate parks, and galleries that are free and genuinely interesting. Each listing shows the minimum age and the price from.
