Surf life saving club at North Narrabeen on Sydney's Northern Beaches. North Narrabeen Nippers aims to teach children to be competent and safe on the beach and with surf equipment, introducing surf knowledge and techniques by age and ability; at 13 Nippers can gain their Surf Rescue Certificate. Age groups run from 6 through to 14 years. Nippers runs each Sunday, with roll call at 8.45am and events from 9am to 10am, and the season runs October to March (2025-26 dates are the latest published). A parent or guardian must be on the beach, each child wears a club-colour cap, and a BBQ is held on the club deck after most Nippers. Children in U8 and up can compete at branch junior carnivals.
