Ocean Beach Surf Life Saving Club

Volunteer surf life saving club at Ocean Beach, Umina, on the Central Coast. Its Nippers program offers a fun and active lifestyle for children between the ages of 5 and 13, where they learn individual and team skills on the beach and in the surf. For 2026/27, U8-U14 Nippers start Sunday 11 October 2026 and the youngest groups start Sunday 18 October 2026. The club supplies nipper boards for Sunday training and competition (foam boards for U9-U10, fibreglass for U11-U13). Seagull Nippers is an inclusion program for people with additional needs, covering safety education, surf lifesaving skills, beach and water familiarisation and sensory activities. Parents are encouraged to help as volunteers.
