Queenscliff Surf Life Saving Club

Queenscliff SLSC ('Queensie'), providing surf life saving since 1924, runs Nippers on Sunday mornings at the northern end of Manly beach for age groups Under 6 to Under 14. Children must have turned 5 before 30 September. Nippers learn from day one how to be safe and confident in the surf and work as part of a team; coaches also run board training and beach running sessions through the week and before Nippers on Sunday. The 2026-27 season starts 11 October 2026 for U6 and 18 October 2026 for all ages (8.45am-10.30am). Children U8 and up complete a pre-season pool swim proficiency, and a parent must join with each Nipper. Families are asked to do volunteer sessions, and there is a BBQ every Sunday after Nippers.
