Narrabeen Beach

Last updated October 2026

Narrabeen Beach is part of the long sandy stretch from Collaroy to North Narrabeen; the council notes it is prone to large surf and erosion and lists fair swimming conditions with a strong shore break at times. Council lifeguards patrol from the last weekend of September until the last weekend of April, every day 9am-5pm and longer in the summer peak; swim between the flags. Parking is free with a council permit or pay-and-display, with designated disabled spaces. Within a short walk (OpenStreetMap) are Banksia (cafe, about 200 m), Black Honey & Brew (cafe, about 210 m), Ocean Bakehouse (bakery, about 250 m) and Sri's Indian Eatery (takeaway, about 340 m).
