Newport Rockpool

Newport Rockpool is a 50 m ocean pool at the southern end of Newport Beach, reached from the walkway at Calvert Parade and The Boulevard or along the beach from the car park. No lifeguard service is listed for the pool itself; council lifeguards patrol the adjoining surf beach daily 9am-5pm from the last weekend of September to the last weekend of April. The pool closes regularly for cleaning and refilling, so check the council cleaning roster before you go. Change rooms and toilets are available, with a playground, large grassed areas and electric BBQs south of the surf club, and pay-and-display parking.
