North Cronulla Beach
Last updated October 2026
North Cronulla Beach is a sandy beach with a rocky shoreline to the south. Sutherland Shire Council lifeguards patrol it every day from October to April, 7am to 5pm (6pm in daylight saving), with volunteer surf lifesavers helping on summer weekends. From May to September it is used only for school surf education programs, so there are no flags then. Behind the beach, Dunningham Park has a grassed area and a large children's playground. Restaurants, cafes and a kiosk adjoin the beach, and the Cronulla Ocean Pools are on the foreshore. Dogs are prohibited on the beach. Within a short walk are Sea Level (restaurant, about 140 m), Alley Break Cafe (about 140 m), Opah (restaurant, about 190 m) and Chatime (about 320 m).
Facts checked against the venue's own website on 22 October 2026.
