The Bay Run

Free 7km shared walking and cycling path around Iron Cove through Drummoyne, Five Dock and the Inner West, with toilets in several parks.

The Bay Run is a 7km walking and cycling circuit around Iron Cove, following the shoreline through Drummoyne and Five Dock in the City of Canada Bay and continuing into the Inner West Council area. It is mostly a shared path, and along the whole Canada Bay section a centre line separates the pedestrian lane from the cyclist lane, with both lanes running in both directions. Most of the parking around the Bay Run is free and unlimited. Public toilets are in Brett Park, Nield Park, Rodd Park and Timbrell Park on the Canada Bay side, and in Robson Park, Hippo Park and King George Park on the Inner West side. There are cafes along the route. Interpretive signs and artworks along the path tell the history of the area, and the council offers audio walking tours through its Canada Bay Walking Tours app.
