Sailing club on the Parramatta River at Drummoyne with Learn to Sail courses for ages 8-14 ($595) and Sunday junior racing.

Drummoyne Sailing Club, at 2 St Georges Crescent, Drummoyne, has been sailing on the Parramatta River since 1913 and has a waterfront clubhouse with dining for members and guests. Its Drummoyne Sailing Academy is an Australian Sailing accredited Discover Sailing Centre. The Learn to Sail course, for ages 8-14 with little or no experience, combines Start Sailing 1 and 2 and covers capsize recovery, sail trim, tacking, gybing and safety in the academy's PJ, Sabot and RS dinghies, with all sailing and safety equipment supplied. As of October 2026, Learn to Sail courses run in the school holidays and cost $595, and Learn to Race Green Fleet coaching for under-14s runs on Sunday afternoons from 18 October to 6 December 2026, also $595. Junior sailors from age 8 race in the club's off-the-beach fleets on Sunday afternoons, and the club invites families to help out. Sign-up is online.
