Surfing Australia-endorsed surf school based at Corrimal, with lessons at Thirroul, Corrimal and Warilla beaches. Kids group learn-to-surf programs are for ages 4-17, run as school holiday programs and 8-week after-school term programs, covering pop-ups, paddling, duck diving and how wind, swell, tides and rips affect conditions. For 5-12 year olds new to surfing it runs Surfing Australia's nudie SurfGroms junior program; older kids can join the Kids Ocean SMART program and surf coaching, and there are kids surf parties and school programs. Learn-to-surf lessons are run in shallow water, with soft boards and wetsuits supplied. Lessons run year-round.
