Skywood Climbing is a bouldering gym at 144 Old Pittwater Road, Brookvale. Bouldering is climbing on walls up to 4-5 metres high above thick padded mats, with no ropes or harnesses. The general minimum climbing age is 12; management may make exceptions for experienced younger climbers, who must stay supervised by an adult. Under 18s need a parent or guardian to complete an online waiver through a family profile. On Saturdays in Term 4 (17 October to 12 December 2026) there are Youth groups for ages 12-15 (9am-10:30am) and Juniors for ages 14-17 (10:30am-12pm), booked through the website. As of October 2026 single entry is $26 for adults and $23.40 for students, with no booking needed; shoe hire costs $8 and is free on your first visit. The homepage lists hours as Monday, Wednesday and Thursday 9am-10pm, Tuesday and Friday 2pm-10pm, and weekends 9am-9pm.
