Sunshine Beach Surf Life Saving Club on Duke Street has run its Junior Activities (Nippers) program since 1994, giving young lifesavers confidence, knowledge and skills while promoting fair play, teamwork and an active lifestyle. Nippers are aged 6-13 as of 30 September. Sessions are each Sunday from 7:30am to about 9:30am, with muster at 7:15am outside the roller doors on the park side of the clubhouse. The 2026/27 season runs from 11 October 2026 to 7 March 2027. All age groups complete a pool proficiency before the season. Registration is through the SLS Hub, and the club says spaces are available in all age groups.
