Ageing castle attraction at Bli Bli offering a $10 self-guided mini tour with armour, dolls, a model train and a kids' treasure hunt.
Sunshine Castle at Bli Bli is a castle-themed attraction that has operated for almost 50 years. Since January 2020 part of the original buildings has been closed, and public access to the original castle buildings stopped in January 2021, so it now offers only a mini self-guided tour. The tour covers the castle courtyard with the King's Table, pillory, stage and moat, an armour display where visitors can touch and try on armour, the dancing dolls, the doll museum, a fairytale walk, a model train railway and a castles-of-the-world gallery. Children can do a treasure hunt around the castle and earn a treat from the King's Treasure Chest, and there are history shields to read. Families can take photos by the turrets and on the drawbridge. Admission is $10 per person, as of October 2026. The website lists opening hours of 10am to 4pm Monday to Saturday and 10am to 3pm Sunday. There is a toy shop and a coffee counter on site. Wheelchair and pram access is limited.
Facts checked against the venue's own website on 17 October 2026.
