Coolum Beach Nippers for ages 5-12, September to March; some age groups full for 2026/27.

Coolum Beach Surf Life Saving Club runs Nippers from the September school holidays to February or March for kids aged 5 to 12, teaching surf safety and surf lifesaving skills, with optional carnivals and mid-week training. For the 2026/27 season the club says new places are available in the Under 10, Under 12 and Under 13 groups, while Under 6 to Under 9 and Under 11 are at capacity; email the club with your child's name and date of birth to register. Fees, the calendar, training schedule and handbook are linked from the nippers page. The club also offers beach matting and a beach wheelchair during weekend patrols from September to April.
