Nippers at Maroochydore Beach for ages 5-13 from September to March, covering swimming, running and board skills.

Maroochydore Surf Life Saving Club runs Nippers for children aged 5 to 13 (must be 5 by 30 September) from September to March. Kids build running, swimming and board paddling skills and learn beach safety on the way to becoming surf lifesavers. Every Nipper from U6 to U14 must pass a pool evaluation before taking part. As of October 2026 the club lists U6, U7, U8 and U10 groups at capacity, with limited places in U9 and U11 to U14. Registration is through the SLS Members Portal, and the club asks families to tell it about any vouchers before paying. Fees are in the club's season information document.
