Last updated October 2026

Coastal national park at Noosa Heads with a day-use picnic area, koala spotting and a sealed coastal walk to Dolphin Point.

Noosa National Park covers the Noosa Heads headland and coastal areas south towards Coolum. The day-use area at the end of Park Road has picnic tables, electric barbecues, drinking water, toilets and an information centre run by the Noosa Parks Association. The sealed Coastal Walk path is suitable for assisted wheelchair access for 300 m to Boiling Pot, then continues to Dolphin Point (1.2 km) with steeper sections. Koalas are often seen near the day-use area, and humpback whales pass between June and November. Bikes, scooters and skateboards are not allowed on tracks. Rangers advise walking in groups and in daylight only. Pets are prohibited.

Facts checked against the venue's own website on 14 October 2026.
