Tunnel track, Dularcha National Park
Last updated October 2026
An easy Grade 2 walk along an old railway line to a heritage-listed railway tunnel in Dularcha National Park, between Mooloolah and Landsborough. The track is 3 km one way; the tunnel is 900 m from the northern entrance on Paget Street, Mooloolah, or 2.1 km from the southern entrance off Beech Road, Landsborough. Walkers share the track with mountain-bike riders and horse riders. Inside the tunnel let your eyes adjust to the dark, look for colourful moths, spiders and small ferns on the walls, and walk quietly so as not to disturb the large-footed myotis bats that roost there seasonally. Mooloolah and Landsborough railway stations are within walking distance of the park.
Facts checked against the venue's own website on 23 October 2026.
