Tugun Beach

Tugun Beach looks north to the Surfers Paradise skyline, with Flat Rock Creek running into the ocean at the northern end through a shady park. Lifeguards patrol Tower 9, near Tugun Surf Life Saving Club, between 8am and 5pm every day between November and April and during school holidays. Swim between the red and yellow flags. The parklands next to the beach have toilets, tables, beach showers and shade structures, and there is seating, bike racks and path lighting along the Oceanway. There is limited parking at the surf club and on-street parking. Dogs are not allowed within 200 metres of the flags. Within a short walk (OpenStreetMap) are Made Barber and Barista (about 190 m), Golden Gelato (about 230 m), Sticky Rice, a restaurant (about 350 m) and Maries Pizza, a restaurant (about 360 m), plus several other places to eat.
