Tugun Surf Life Saving Club runs Tugun Nippers on Sunday mornings, a program that combines surf awareness, beach safety, fitness and teamwork so kids build confidence in the water and respect for the ocean. The Nipper age groups run from Under 6 to Under 13. The 2026/2027 season started on Sunday 4 October 2026 at 7:45am and runs to March 2027. All Nippers must complete a pool proficiency each year before the season, and a parent or guardian must register with their Nipper. Families can join online or at the sign-on days; Play On vouchers are accepted. Additional mid-week training is available. The clubhouse also has a bistro, bar and cafe.
