BMD Northcliffe Surf Life Saving Club

Surf life saving club at Northcliffe beach, Surfers Paradise, with a Nippers junior program for children aged 5 to 13 that teaches surf safety, beach awareness and the skills to swim competently in the ocean. Nipper days are held each Sunday: children assemble at 7.30am on the grassed area in front of the clubhouse, with activities alternating between beach and water and running 1.5 to 2 hours; Under 6 and Under 7 start at 8:30am. At least one parent or guardian must be on the beach. The 2026/27 season runs from Sunday 4 October 2026 to Sunday 7 March 2027, with a Christmas break from 20 December to 10 January. 2026/27 nipper fees start at $30 (Under 6 to Under 8, early bird). The club also has a bistro and bar.
