Beach tennis social games and lessons at Broadbeach, North Burleigh and Surfers Paradise beaches for ages 7+; walk-in pass $18.

Beach Tennis Gold Coast is a not-for-profit association, affiliated with Tennis Queensland and Tennis Australia, that runs beach tennis social games and lessons on Gold Coast beaches. Beach tennis is played with paddles and a low-compression ball on 16 by 8 metre sand courts, and the ball does not bounce. The club says its players range from age 7 to their 70s. As of October 2026, social games run Monday and Thursday from 3pm at Kurrawa Surf Club, Broadbeach; Saturday 9am to 1pm at North Burleigh Heads; and Sunday 8am to 12pm at the Anzac Memorial, Surfers Paradise, with beginner, intermediate and advanced lessons at each. A walk-in pass for social games is $18, and weekly, monthly and annual subscriptions are available. Rackets and equipment are provided; bring a hat, sunglasses, sunscreen and water.
