Sunday Nippers at Merewether for ages 5 to 13; all 2026-27 age groups are full.

Merewether SLSC runs Nippers for children aged 5 to 13 from late October to late February, with a break over Christmas and January and a season-end camp weekend at Fingal Bay. All age groups start at 9am on Sundays in front of the surf club; younger groups usually finish by 10am. Children learn swimming confidence, body boarding, beach sprints, dolphin diving and spotting rips. At least one parent must join as an associate member and parent helpers need a Working with Children Check. Registrations for 2026-27 closed when every age group reached capacity; fees are not listed, as of October 2026.
