Catherine Hill Bay Surf Life Saving Club (Catho SLSC) is the surf club at Catherine Hill Bay. Its Nippers program is for children aged 5 to 14 and teaches kids to stay safe at the beach while learning lifesaving skills, with activities such as wading, running, ocean swimming and board paddling. The club lists registration days at the clubhouse in September, pool proficiency sessions before the season, and a first Nippers day on 11 October, with U6 and U7 starting at 8:45 and U8 and up at 10am.
