Kurrawa beach and parkland are part of the Broadbeach oceanfront, with several playgrounds in the beachside parks. Council lifeguards patrol three locations: Tower 27 (Margaret Avenue) and Tower 28 (Kurrawa Surf Life Saving Club) between 8am and 5pm every day all year round, and Tower 26A (Hedges Avenue) between 8am and 5pm every day from November to April and during school holidays. Swim between the red and yellow flags. The park has toilets, barbecues, tables, shade structures, playgrounds and beach showers. Council warns to avoid steep and unstable sand scarps. Dogs are not allowed within 200 metres of the flags. Within a short walk (OpenStreetMap) are Tower 28 Cafe (about 260 m), Elk Espresso (about 400 m), Priceline Pharmacy, a pharmacy (about 390 m) and Kurrawa Surf Club, a restaurant (about 280 m), plus several other places to eat.
