Kurrawa Surf Life Saving Club

Surf life saving club on Kurrawa Beach, Broadbeach, running Sunday Nippers for Under 6 to Under 14 age groups. Nippers runs every Sunday from 4 October (2026/27 season); sign-in is on the beachside of the club from 8:15am and sessions run 8:30am to 10:30am. All age groups complete six 20-minute rotations: swim, board, wade, flags, sprints and lifesaving techniques. Bring a cap, rashie and goggles. Membership includes midweek water and beach training, school holiday training programs, carnival entry fees at club-approved events, and free award training for parents. Nippers is not a learn-to-swim program or child minding; parent involvement is required. Enrolments for 2026/27 are open, with some age groups already full.
