The Murlong swimming enclosure in Palm Beach, on Murlong Crescent, has around 70 metres of beach where children can play in the sand or swim in a netted enclosure, with shade structures on the beach. There are drinking fountains, beach showers, toilets, picnic tables and gas barbecues, free car parking and a boat ramp. The City of Gold Coast says its swimming enclosures are popular with children and people who prefer calm natural swimming water, but they are not patrolled by lifeguards: supervise children at all times, keep clear of the nets, and take care as depth varies with the tide. Dogs and fishing are not permitted in the enclosure. Avoid swimming for 3 days after heavy rain. Within a short walk (OpenStreetMap) are Kiosk - Tallebudgera Creek Tourist Park (about 260 m) and Custard Canteen (about 340 m).
