Narrowneck is the slender stretch of sand between the Nerang River and the ocean, with Macintosh Island Park behind it, reached by a bridge. Lifeguards patrol Tower 37 (Main Beach Parade, opposite Hi Surf apartments) and Tower 38 (beach side of Macintosh Island Park) between 8am and 5pm every day all year round. Swim between the red and yellow flags. The Oceanway runs along the beachfront, with toilets, benches and beach showers, and there is a car park on Main Beach Parade plus on-street parking. The beach has a dog prohibited area, and dogs are not allowed within 200 metres of the flags. Within a short walk (OpenStreetMap): Sea Urchin Kitchen & Bar (cafe, about 350 m), 7-Eleven (convenience store, about 350 m), Subway (takeaway, about 360 m) and 2Zing! Cafe (cafe, about 400 m).
