Continental Pool, on Cliff Road between Wollongong Harbour and North Beach, has a 50 m pool, a 45 m pool and a toddlers' pool; the 45 m pool has a ramp entry for people with limited mobility. Toilets, change rooms, showers and accessible amenities are on site. Council lifeguards supervise Wollongong's three saltwater pools and entry is free. Hours: open all year; 6am-6pm Thursday to Tuesday and 6am-9am Wednesday (cleaning) from 26 Sep to 30 Oct 2026, 6am-7pm Thursday to Tuesday from 31 Oct 2026 to 19 Mar 2027 (closed Christmas Day), then shorter hours in autumn and 6am-2pm Tuesday to Sunday in winter. Please leave 15 minutes before closing; the pool may close at short notice due to water or weather conditions, including lightning. Within a short walk are Blu Orange (about 190 m), Aqua (about 190 m), Basin Cafe (about 220 m) and The Anchorage (about 230 m) (OpenStreetMap).
