Bonbeach Life Saving Club

Volunteer life saving club at Bonbeach on Port Phillip Bay, with lifesavers patrolling on weekends and public holidays from mid November to April. Its Nippers program for kids aged 5 to 13 is run by trained age managers, with games built around running, board paddling and swimming, learning about local marine life, and lifesaving skills such as CPR and what to do if you get into trouble in the water. Nippers can compete at Life Saving Victoria carnivals. The club also runs Starfish Nippers, a lifesaving skills program for children and young adults with disability aged six and older.
