Wanda Beach
Last updated October 2026
Wanda is the furthest patrolled beach north on the Cronulla stretch, a sand beach that Sutherland Shire Council says attracts a smaller crowd because of its location. Council lifeguards patrol every day from October to April, 7am to 5pm (6pm in daylight saving), with volunteer lifesavers from Wanda Surf Life Saving Club on summer weekends. It is not patrolled from May to September. There is a kiosk open in the summer months, plus toilets and parking. Dogs are not allowed on the beach; Wanda Reserve behind the beach is an on-leash area. Within a short walk is Top Shop at Wanda (about 300 m).
Facts checked against the venue's own website on 22 October 2026.
