Trinity Beach is a Cairns Regional Council beach along Vasey Esplanade. The council says it is patrolled by Surf Lifesavers between 9am and 5pm year round and has a stinger net enclosure during the marine stinger season (November to May). Along the foreshore there is a children's playground, picnic shelters, bench seats, free electric barbecues and a council toilet block in Trinity Beach Foreshore Park, and the council lists it as wheelchair accessible. Stinger season generally runs November to May and the nets are not 100 percent stinger proof; this is crocodile country, so swim only when lifesavers are on duty, and inside the net in stinger season. Within a short walk (OpenStreetMap): Tuk Tuk By The Sea (restaurant, about 50 m) and Koi Seafood and Souvla (restaurant, about 50 m), plus 6 more places to eat.
