Tallebudgera Creek is framed by Burleigh Heads National Park on one side and Tallebudgera Beach on the other; the City of Gold Coast describes its sheltered, crystal clear waters as popular for picnics, swimming and paddleboarding. Neptune Royal Life Saving Club patrols the creek beach between the Gold Coast Highway bridge and the creek mouth, 8am to 5pm on weekends and public holidays from the September school holidays to the first weekend of May (Tower 17). Swim between the red and yellow flags. The parkland beside the creek has toilets, tables, shade structures and beach showers, with a car park off the Gold Coast Highway. Dogs are not allowed within 200 metres of the flags. Within a short walk (OpenStreetMap) are Neptune Kiosk (about 60 m), Custard Canteen (about 140 m) and Dining Hall, a restaurant (about 160 m).
