Sunreef at The Wharf Mooloolaba runs whale watching tours on its vessel Whale One, plus snorkelling with turtles, scuba diving and hire of kayaks, stand-up paddleboards and boats. Sunreef says its whale watching tours suit all ages and families with kids; the boat leaves from the Mooloolaba River and takes about 15 minutes to reach open water before the crew searches for whales. Children under 16 must be with an adult at all times, pregnant passengers cannot board, and the vessels have no wheelchair access. Trips may be cancelled for unsafe sea conditions, with a rebooking or refund. The shop is open 8am to 5pm Monday to Saturday and 8am to 4pm Sunday. Tour prices are shown when booking online.
