One-hour duck bus and river cruise from Mooloolaba where kids can drive the boat; child tickets $44, family $170.

Aquaduck Sunshine Coast is a one-hour amphibious bus and boat tour of Mooloolaba, leaving from the Tourist Bus Stop at The Wharf car park in front of SEA LIFE Sunshine Coast on Parkyn Parade. About 40 minutes is spent on the Mooloolah River and 20 minutes on the road, with live commentary, passing Point Cartwright, the fish market and fishing trawlers. Once on the water, children can take a turn driving the Duck for free and get a personalised Captain's Certificate. The tour runs in rain and passengers do not get wet. As of October 2026 prices are $56 adult, $44 child (2 to 16), $50 senior and $170 for a family of 2 adults and 2 children; babies 0 to 1 ride free on a lap but must be included in the booking. Normal tour times are 9:30am, 10:45am, 12pm, 2pm, 3:15pm and 4:30pm. Check in 20 minutes before departure. Prams and strollers cannot go on the Duck and there is no storage. There are 5 steps to board.
