Its Nippers program introduces children aged 5 to 14 to lifesaving through beach activities, water safety, surf awareness, sun safety, open water confidence, board training and resuscitation. It runs on Tuesday evenings from November to March, with a break over Christmas: the younger groups (under 6 to under 9) from 5pm to 6pm and the older groups (under 12 to under 13) from 6pm to 7pm. Nippers must join as part of a family membership and parents are strongly encouraged to get involved; Nipper parents need a free Working With Children Check.
