Aspendale Life Saving Club

Life saving club on Groves Street, Aspendale, supporting Aspendale beach goers through beach patrols. Its Nippers beach education program introduces children aged 5 to 14 to lifesaving, with activities to develop surf awareness and confidence in beach activities: playing safe in the water, lifesaving signals, and surf skills such as beach sprints, wading, dolphin diving, surf races, beach flags and boards. The 2026/27 calendar lists Sunday sessions from 10:30am to 11:30am between 22 November 2026 and 21 March 2027. Nippers register under a family membership, and each Nipper needs a swim assessment form completed by a swim teacher.
