Bancoora Surf Life Saving Club

Last updated October 2026

Bancoora Surf Life Saving Club is a volunteer club that has patrolled Bancoora Beach in Breamlea since 1962, on weekends and public holidays from late November to late April. Its junior programs are about children and parents having fun while learning beach safety: Mozzies for the Under 6 and Under 7 age groups (about an hour of fun and games), Nippers for Under 8 to Under 14, and Young Guns from age 14. In 2026/27 there are 10 sessions from 6 December to 28 February, with a break over the end of year; Nippers sessions run 9.30am to 11.30am and Mozzies 9.30am to 10.30am. Membership fees for a family with Nippers cover the program and equipment. The club runs a small, parent-run program, and all 2026/27 Nipper age groups are full.

Facts checked against the venue's own website on 23 October 2026.
