Daily Port Douglas cruise to an outer reef platform at Agincourt Reef with snorkelling, semi-sub rides and an underwater observatory.

Quicksilver Cruises runs a daily Wavepiercer catamaran from Port Douglas Marina to its activity platform at Agincourt Reef on the outer edge of the Great Barrier Reef. On the platform kids can swim and snorkel (child-size masks, snorkels and fins, kick-boards and flotation vests are provided), view coral from the underwater observatory and ride semi-submersibles that leave every 15 minutes; a marine biology presentation, fish feeding and a tropical buffet lunch are included. Guided snorkel tours, scuba diving, Ocean Walker helmet diving and helicopter flights cost extra. Children under 14 must be with an adult on the outside decks. Fares from 1 April 2026 to 31 March 2027 are $338 adult, $179 child and $864 family, plus a fuel surcharge of $10 adult and $5 child (4-14). Coach transfers from Port Douglas or Cairns cost extra. Check in 9:15am, depart 10am, at the reef from 11:30am, back at Port Douglas about 4:30pm. As of October 2026.
