Small volunteer life saving club at 38 Beaconsfield Parade, Port Melbourne. Its Nippers program for children aged 5 to 13 teaches the Surf Life Saving Australia Surf Education program: safety, surf awareness, rescues, first aid and resuscitation, communication and teamwork. Sessions run on Sunday mornings from 10:45am roll call to noon, followed by a sausage sizzle and fruit lunch included in membership; the 2026/27 program runs from 6 December 2026 to March 2027. A parent must stay on the beach and help, at least one parent volunteers as an Age Manager, and adults need a Working with Children Check. Nipper registrations for 2026/27 are closed.
