Murray Rose Pool
Last updated October 2026
Murray Rose Pool (formerly Redleaf Pool) is a harbourside tidal swimming enclosure of about 90 by 60 metres on Double Bay. Woollahra Council says it is popular with all age groups and busy on summer weekends, and lists it as a year-round swimming enclosure with a beach and a pontoon. There are public toilets, change rooms, showers and a kiosk with shaded seating. Access is by stairs from New South Head Road; street parking is limited on weekdays, with off-street parking at the Council Chambers on weekends. No life saving services are provided. Dogs are prohibited at the pool. Avoid swimming during and for at least three days after heavy rain. Within a short walk is Redleaf Cafe (about 60 m).
Facts checked against the venue's own website on 22 October 2026.
