McIver's Ladies Baths
Last updated October 2026
McIver's Ladies Baths is a concrete sea pool on a cliff face and rock platform between Coogee Beach and Wylie's Baths, open only to women and children. Randwick Council says it is the last remaining women's-only seawater pool in Australia; the baths describe themselves as an inclusive space for all women and children. Steps lead down the cliff from Grant Reserve. There are change rooms, an amenities block, a brick sunbathing area and a small clubhouse. Entry is a small fee (single entry $2.50, rising to $3.00 from 1 January 2027). Summer hours are 7am to 7pm. Dogs are prohibited. Within a short walk are Barzura (restaurant, about 170 m), Bathers Coogee (about 190 m), The Little Kitchen (about 220 m) and Thai Banyantree Coogee (restaurant, about 230 m).
Facts checked against the venue's own website on 22 October 2026.
