Marcoola Beach, between beach accesses 98 and 112, is a quieter open stretch of beach surrounded by parkland and patrolled seasonally. The Marcoola Surf Life Saving Club is at 64-76 Marcoola Esplanade (beach access 103) beside Felix Parry Park; council map data lists volunteer patrols on summer weekends and council lifeguards in the summer school holidays. Restaurants and takeaway food outlets are nearby. Dogs are allowed off leash only between beach accesses 97 and 98, 5am to 8am and 5pm to 8pm. Swim between the red and yellow flags and check beach conditions before swimming.
