Jacobs Well swimming enclosure

The Jacobs Well swimming enclosure is directly north of Jacobs Well Air Sea Rescue, off Jacobs Well Road. About 150 metres of netting hangs from floating pontoons, and there is a beach area plus barbecue and picnic facilities in the parkland next to it. The City of Gold Coast says its swimming enclosures are popular with children and people who prefer calm natural swimming water, but they are not patrolled by lifeguards: supervise children at all times, keep clear of the nets, and take care as depth varies with the tide. Dogs and fishing are not permitted in the enclosure. Avoid swimming for 3 days after heavy rain.
