Jabiru Island swimming enclosure

The Jabiru Island swimming enclosure is on Jabiru Island along Oxley Drive, between Paradise Point and Hope Island, reached through the car park next to the public boat ramp on the southern side of the island. Jabiru Island Park near the enclosure has picnic and barbecue facilities. The City of Gold Coast says its swimming enclosures are popular with children and people who prefer calm natural swimming water, but they are not patrolled by lifeguards: supervise children at all times, keep clear of the nets, and take care as depth varies with the tide. Dogs and fishing are not permitted in the enclosure. Avoid swimming for 3 days after heavy rain.
