Discovery Beach runs from north of Mudjimba Esplanade to Warana Way at Marcoola (beach accesses 113 to 116). Council-funded lifeguards patrol Discovery Beach all year round. Council notes it is lined with resorts and offers kilometres of unspoilt beach for walkers. Swim between the red and yellow flags and check beach conditions before swimming. Within a short walk (OpenStreetMap): Chemist Warehouse (pharmacy, about 270 m) and Subway (takeaway, about 320 m).
