Collaroy Beach

Last updated October 2026

Collaroy Beach adjoins Narrabeen Beach, and the council describes the beachfront as having facilities for everyone, including people with mobility issues, with a ramp onto the beach and a beach wheelchair and submersible wheelchair. The council lists good swimming conditions and calls it an excellent beach for beginner surfers. Lifeguards are on duty from 9am to 5pm between October and April, and until 6pm between December and February; swim between the flags. The enclosed accessible playground has a Liberty Swing, carousel, slides and interactive water play, and there are wheelchair-accessible picnic settings, an accessible toilet (MLAK key) and permit or pay-and-display parking. Within a short walk (OpenStreetMap) is IGA Xpress (convenience store, about 360 m).
