The Boulders at Babinda is a council-run swimming spot and picnic area in tropical rainforest in the foothills of the Bellenden Ker Range. It is named for the granite outcrops along Babinda Creek, which form cascades and swimming holes. Cairns Regional Council says the site is used for picnics, bushwalking, swimming and sightseeing. Facilities listed by the council are picnic tables, seating, barbecues, toilets, walking tracks, viewing areas and platforms, a play area and interpretive signs. There is also an unpowered campsite with basic amenities, with a strict maximum stay of 72 hours. Dogs are not allowed. The Boulders are on Boulders Road, about 6km from Babinda township. Entry is free and the council page lists no opening hours, as of October 2026.
