More than 50 km of easy-to-intermediate single-track mountain bike trails in Herberton Range State Forest, Atherton, entered from the bottom of Vernon Street.

Atherton Forest Mountain Bike Park is a network of purpose-built single-track trails in the Herberton Range State Forest at Atherton. Tablelands Regional Council describes more than 50 km of single trails reached from the trailhead at the bottom of Vernon Street by riding the easy track into the network. The Queensland Parks and Wildlife Service page lists 18 numbered trails graded easy or intermediate, from 0.9 km to 10.5 km long, some with black (difficult) alternative sections; easy options include Trail 1 (5.4 km) and Trail 15 (0.9 km). Riders should wear safety gear, keep 50 metres apart, give way at road crossings and stay on the trails. Dogs are allowed on a leash on the green (easy) trails only; horses and vehicles are not permitted. No fees or opening hours are stated.
