Woorim Beach
Last updated October 2026
Woorim Beach on the ocean side of Bribie Island is one of City of Moreton Bay's 2 patrolled beaches. Patrols typically operate on weekends and public holidays from the September school holidays to Labour Day in May; council recommends checking patrol times before visiting and swimming between the red and yellow flags. Woorim Foreshore has a car park, electric barbecues, shelter, tables, toilets and a water fountain. A permanent beach mat at Beach Access Point 12, free beach wheelchair and walker hire, and a Changing Places facility make it council's main accessible beach. Dogs can be on-lead on the foreshore, with off-leash areas on Woorim Beach away from patrolled areas. Within a short walk are Coffee House Bakery (about 150 m), Benny's Cafe (about 150 m), IGA Xpress (about 200 m) and Bribie Island Surf Club (about 10 m).
Facts checked against the venue's own website on 22 October 2026.
