Clontarf Beach
Last updated October 2026
Clontarf Beach faces Moreton Bay beside Clontarf Beach Park on Hornibrook Esplanade. Council says the park's direct beach access is great for young families who want to wade in the calm, shallow water. The beach is not patrolled: City of Moreton Bay's only patrolled beaches are Suttons Beach and Woorim Beach. The park has electric barbecues, sheltered seating, water fountains and a foreshore walking path. Dogs are welcome on-leash in the Clontarf dog on-leash beach areas. Within a short walk are The Drowned Rat Coffee (about 250 m), Chemist Warehouse (about 150 m) and Indian Brothers (about 60 m), plus several other places to eat.
Facts checked against the venue's own website on 22 October 2026.
